This contemporary sculpture is made of welded aluminum and includes various shapes and vibrant colors. The sculpture is titled "Moons of the Galaxy." The City of Bonita Springs commissioned Swartz to create a beautiful large scale sculpture and it looks spectacular. City organizers met Swartz over the years while attending the Bonita Springs Fine Art Festival. Clayton Swartz has been making sculptures in his Pinellas Park Studio for over 15 years. He makes medium and large scale works for cities, businesses and private collectors around the country. He describes his works as a performance or dance with the material a chance to turn something raw into something beautiful. His vision is to enhance communities by creating sculptures that are visually stimulating and engages the community to interact with the sculpture by discovering each sculptures beauty and meaning. Swartz is thankful for the City of Bonita Springs for allowing him to share his passion for creating sculptures with this community.
