Florida based artist, Clayton Swartz, was selected to create a dimensional wall sculpture for Dunedin Fire and Emergency Operations.

This sculpture will be approximately 10 feet wide and will be installed early 2021.

My initial concept for this project celebrates the hard work, dedication, and love that the fire department
and emergency operations department provide for their community. I envision creating a dimensional wall sculpture to attach to the building. The idea Fortitude” is a strong and vibrant sculpture that will invoke feelings of strength, patriotism, love, and beauty. The sculpture includes elements and tools of the fire department with intersecting ladders, a large heart with the number 62 in the center. Half of the heart will symbolize water and the other half fire.
